Ever since buying a house a few years ago, I've been on a journey of learning and studying interior design. It's a process of finding inspiration I love without merely duplicating it, seeking out unique thrifted pieces, and creating a collected, curated look in our home without it feeling cluttered. We are re-designing almost all the rooms in our house, one at a time and all at once, so it often feels like everything is half-done.
Despite the ongoing projects, I've found such joy in these little corner projects. They offer a sense of instant gratification that is both fun and rewarding. I used little knick-knacks I already have around the home so I can complete these mini makeovers in a day. These small transformations make the day-to-day feel cozy and lived-in, turning our house into a true home.
So, as we continue to tackle each room and every corner, I'm excited to see how our home evolves. Each project, big or small, is a step towards making our house truly feel like home. And I hope to inspire others to embark on their own interior design journeys, discovering the joy and satisfaction that comes with creating a space that reflects their own personal style and needs.
