My daughter is obsessed with all things pink, sparkles, and ballerina. She's been very into the Angelina Ballerina books and TV shows lately so it only seemed natural to give her the same birthday theme. Here's a breakdown of all the details that went into it.

Tablescape and Decor
Obviously my favorite part. I set everything up when she went to bed the night before so she would wake up to the magical set up. I blew up balloons to put everywhere ribbons hung at her door to walk through. We hung up ballerina garlands and had a beautiful tablescape.
Outfits
Everyone was dressed in their ballerina best obviously. Everything was pink and full of tulle. We set up a dress up area for all the little girls when they arrived that had a tutu, bow, and wand for everyone to wear throughout the party. It was a big hit. The dress up station was homemade from leftover tulle and the rest of the items were found at local boutiques. I've linked similar ones for you guys to copy
Party Favors
I wanted each girl to go home with something they loved from the party. Since it was a smaller guest list I was able to get each girl something they could re-use rather than paper bags and junk that would eventually just get thrown away. I got the cutest little daisy reusable bags and filled them with their wands, bows, as well as some candy and a re-usable pink sparkly cup.
Food and Cake
We always just go with a classic pizza with a few sides for birthday parties. It makes it easy and everyone loves it. For a dinner party with more grown ups, I would go with something more homemade, but all the kid's really want is just pizza and candy. My mom homemade some chocolate cupcakes that we topped with Ballerina toppers and called it a day. We just added a few candles to one of them rather than a whole cake.
Activities
We put on a YouTube ballerina video and all the girls did ballerina lessons, then we followed up with music and did a freeze dance. I also had Angelina Ballerina coloring pages scattered around for everyone to play with.
Gifts
If people ask, we tend to request items that can be used and thrown away after for our toddler so our house doesn't get overwhelmed with toys and clutter. We request things like art supplies, her favorite drinks and snacks, and she honestly loves these more than any "toy" she gets. We got her one of those cute digital cameras made for kids, along with some Angelina Ballerina books. The hit was the wrapping paper, I get this custom wrapping paper with her face on it and it's such a fun detail for holidays.
The day that she stops requesting these super fun girly birthday parties and just want to hang out with friends will be such a sad day for me, so I'm taking full advantage of all the glitter and fun while I can! If you use any of these ideas, leave them in the comments, I would love to see your birthday parties!
