Valentine's Day Basket for a toddler

Valentine's Day Basket for a toddler

You thought Valentine's Day was special when it was just you and your partner buying flowers and beer for eachother, but having a kid takes it to the next level, and makes it a ton more fun. My husband, he gets beer with a bow on the top and he's as happy as can be, but my 1 year old...she gets the good stuff.

These slippers: She's obsessed with wearing shoes in the house, but I can't stand the muddy outdoor shoes all over our carpet. This is a win for both of us really.

Barbie color/sticker books. I love this one beause it comes with re-usable stickers and a huge bundle of books. I buy these in bulk and keep them for emergencies like a meltdown at a resturaunt. She gets 1 or 2 for each holiday too. The best part is they're clutter free. Use them and throw them away rather than just collecting junk.

Books. There's a rule in our house that you can never have enough books. I love getting her a book themed for the holiday. Crocodile's need kisses too is the one for this year.  If you don't have the room to keep the books or the funds to buy them constantly, go to the library and get a few for the holiday and return afterwards! I love doing this too.

This sippy cup. We're trying to transition from a water bottle so a sippy cup with water. I was going to get her this anyway, but throw it in the Valentine's Day basket and makes it way more fun.

Bath Crayons: Again, this doesn't cause clutter. Leave it in the bathtub and they get used up and they're gone. It's perfect, it's easy, it's affordable, and anything that makes bath time easier is a win for me.

Pajamas: She needs a few new ones and these silk ones are so lux for a toddler and make it feel like a special treat and extra fun for Valentine's Day. And they're pretty affordable too!
